Tanya,

I am writing to thank you for the wonderful results we have achieved from our weekly Yoga classes.

Our Talman people sit at a desk all day using PC and mouse, this can result in chronic back, neck and shoulder issues over time. This often results in poor productivity and absenteeism.

Our yoga gives us the opportunity to exercise our back and other parts thus avoiding these issues. We very much appreciate the personal attention you give us all, especially the understanding if any of us have a slight injury.

I regard our company yoga classes with our espresso coffee machine as the main contributors to our high staff retention rate of over 9 years average employment at Talman.

The classes do not discriminate against our various standards and abilities. The final relaxation and meditation is treasured by all.

I have found the Yoga sessions very helpful in improving my flexibility and balance. The breathing techniques have improved concentration levels and when I feel stressed I do a short breathing session to mellow myself out. After the yoga class I feel refreshed and calm and as though I have had a work out. Tanya is an extremely talented professional who provides clear and precise instructions.

Tanya is a terrific teacher, mixing the poses so that it is never boring, yet always challenging. She is intuitive to the needs of the individual and keeps an eye on you which is very important when you bend into poses you are not used to.

What I find beneficial about the yoga classes is not just the core strength, flexibility and fitness I am acquiring, but also the skills taught in class that percolate into my every day life. For example:

Tanya is skilful at introducing variety and new challenges each week. Her gentle yet encouraging teaching style provides many options throughout the class, which allows each person to work at their own pace. I find Tanya's classes both restful and energising.

I do lots of running and walking as well as sitting for many hours, so Yoga is my way of compensating for the muscle contraction which these activities produce, I also sleep more peacefully in the evening after a Yoga session.
