Tanya began practising yoga in the mid 90s seeking to expand her life experiences and heal a back injury. Not only did the injury improve dramatically, but the deeply transformative effects of a regular, holistic practice soon had her hooked. Compelled to share her passion with others, Tanya completed an Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching and studied extensively in Australia and India with teachers including Mark Breadner, Sindar Kaur, Simon Borg-Olivier and Swami Jnaneshvara Bharati. She's also worked with physiotherapists at Sarah Key Physiotherapy Clinic teaching back-care yoga classes, and recently completed a Certificate of Nutrition at Nature Care College.

Tanya has taught yoga full-time for many years, specialising in Corporate Yoga and private Yoga Coaching, guiding her clients to develop their life potential using the wider practices of yoga. She's continued to expand her love of yoga, establishing Yogacoach Teacher Training with one of Sydney's most experienced teacher trainers, Mark Breadner and is passionate about supporting and nurturing the next generation of yoga teachers in teaching the complete system of yoga, including meditation.

Tanya has explored numerous styles of yoga including Astanga, Iyengar, and the Viniyoga tradition of Desikachar, all of which influence her teaching approach. Her dynamic, flowing classes focus on balancing the body (flexibility & strength), developing self-awareness (for clarity & focus) and restoring inner connection to enhance vitality, ease and wellbeing. She teaches pranayama (breathing) and meditation as an integral part of a powerful yoga practice.

Tanya provides specialised Holistic Lifestyle and Postural Assessments and designs unique individual programs for her clients, helping them to refine and achieve their goals, and balance a demanding external life with a deeper, more settled inner life.

Tanya is a member of Yoga Australia (YA) & Yoga Alliance (YA) internationally.
